Some people do, just to see what's there

Yes, I have gone down what others would call a "dead-end" -- kind of wish I had done a few more actually (that startup that was sold to Cisco). Through the course of life I've picked up skills (musical aptitude for example) for which I will never be recognized, created things which can be called "me too" plays (chat room SW), and nowadays I'm commuting to a job that holds no real future for me though helps me survive (helps alot that it can be fun). It's Experience in its many forms that I could look back on in my old age and be happy about, not whether I chose the "wrong" path.
